Snow-covered volcanoes, lush rainforests and a staggeringly high sheep-to-people ratio, it seems as if the islands of New Zealand have fallen out of the pages of a storybook… or a Hollywood script. In just the last 20 years, New Zealand has provided the backdrop for a number of big-budget blockbuster films, from King Kong to The Chronicles of Narnia series, and perhaps most notably, The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

You will be astonished by a stunning diversity of landscapes it has to offer.
