Fall: 7 Unexpected Places

“Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” so says F. Scott Fitzgerald in The Great Gatsby. It’s true. Fall ushers in cool breezes, changing leaves, and a longing for back to school time. While many people think of the east coast when when the leaves start changing, there are many places in the US where you can find gorgeous quilts of fall colors. We have rounded up some places where you can watch the leaves turn color and start over again. Plan your next fall getaway with us.

Munich Oktoberfest: 10 Reasons To Shout Prost!

The world’s biggest celebration of beer started in a town founded by Benedictine monks: Munich comes from Munichen meaning “by the monks”. Today, 6 million people can’t be wrong: now each year millions of people visit Munich to drink great beer, eat local food, and sing German folks songs (even if you don’t speak a word of German!). Munich’s festive Octoberfest has been happening each year since King Ludwig I threw a huge party for his wedding in 1810. Now you can join in the 17 days of fun and see all that Munich has to offer. Raise a (very large!) mug of beer and enjoy. Prost!
